25 Years of Change… Through the PFLAG Lens
Plan to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event to hear the stories of PFLAG’s history in Boulder County as it was woven into the LGBTQ community’s struggle for inclusion and equal protection from Colorado’s Amendment 2, to the present with seeds of Hope for the future. With a narration scripted by Dr. Glenda Russell, this will be a multi-media production featuring important voices from the past and present, both by video and on stage. Slides of Pride-full moments of the past will link with prize-winning short videos created by Boulder County youth to demonstrate how to be allies to those who are disrespected.
Event producer Jean Hodges is pleased to announce that live music reflecting the times and the spirit of PFLAG’s journey will be provided by Patty Jackson, guitarist, songwriter and soloist; Phoenix, Colorado’s Trans Community Choir, directed by Sam Bullington; and Off Kilter!, the elite a cappella group from the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus, directed by Sam Eschliman.
Admission is free, but we ask that you bring your checkbooks to make your contribution to support a promising future for PFLAG Boulder County.
